Smiles for Cumana Speaks at Recent Meeting

photo

Louise Zawadzki, fellow Rotarian spoke yesterday with Don Heebner, about the clubs joining forces in their mutual involvement in Rotaplast. Adoption of Beanie Babies was greatly appreciated and a fun way to raise needed funds for cleft palate surgeries provided by Rotaplast!

Support of $1000 makes life-changing surgery possible for one needy child in the world.  In this way, Rotarians like you are helping us make smiles.

The club is working toward a September mission to Cumana.

Commissioner Bob Gillies Presents Municipal Campus Plan to Rotary Club

Bob GilliesSpringfield Township Commissioner Bob Gillies visited Rotary to update Rotarians on the Municipal Campus Plan for Springfield Township. The plan, which has been 10 years in the making, is designed to meet the current needs of the Township plus some. Plans include a far larger library, safer Public Works Department, Ambulance Building and creating a more modernized Police Building and Administration Building. The plan is also designed to create a more inviting entrance for the community with public areas and green space. The Township hopes to receive grants towards the building of the new library to help off set costs. Pictured Left to Right: Commissioner Bob Gillies and Rotary President Mike Creeden.
