Botanical Expressions Blooms at Rotary

January 25, 2011 by Tim Ernst 2 Comments

Botanical Expressions Owner Mark Petteruti entertained the Springfield Township Rotary Club with his knowledge and the beauty of horticulture and flower arranging. Mark is joined by Rotary President Jack Norrie.

Did you know that any additive to the water in a vase of tulip or other cut bulb flowers will burn them? This fact and many others were shared by Mark Petteruti, Owner of Flourtown’s Botanical Expressions. Mark demonstrated how he makes an arrangement and how he selects his flowers. He also shared how he started in the business, a boyhood dream of his come true, and where he sources his flowers and gifts for his historic shop at 1510 Bethlehem Pike, where you can see his arrangements and quaint window display. Mark also explained how his company does corporate and residential plant/flower care, container arrangement, holiday decorating and traditional flower and gift shop retail sales.

Graham, we passed this comment onto Mark, he’ll reply directly, as he was just a guest speaker at our club. Thanks, STRC
