Past President, Jim Mohr, Honored With His First Paul Harris Fellow
The Rotary Club of Springfield Township is proud to announce that Past President, Jim Mohr, was honored this week with his first Paul Harris Fellow. Paul Harris was one of the founders of Rotary and in his name the Foundation honors those Rotarians that make significant contributions to the Foundation or who are recognized by their fellow Rotarians for their service to the Club.

Springfield Rotary Continues its Commitment to Ending Polio
On Tuesday, August 21 the Rotary Club of Springfield Township presented a check for $2,500 to DIstrict Governor Tony Janetta for Polio Plus, the Rotary Foundation program to eradicate Polio worldwide. The Montgomery County Foundation Addresses Rotary

On Tuesday March 6th, The Springfield Township Rotary Club welcomed Norristown Rotarian and President and CEO of The Montgomery County Foundation, Inc., Virginia Frantz for an informative presentation about the work of the foundation. Nineteen different funds are managed that provide many community needs that include; arts and culture, economic development, education, environment, health, human services and recreation. Springfield H.S. Interact Strolls for a Good Cause
Carrie Quaco, President and Carolyn Messer, Secretary of the Springfield Township High School Interact Club presented the details of their club’s upcoming fund raiser: The 2nd Annual Spartan Stroll. The fund raiser is being held on Saturday, November 19th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Springfield Township High School football field. The proceeds benefit the Progeria Research Foundation. The day will include a walk/stroll, face painting, cheerleading demo, balloon artist, hot chocolate, hot dogs and pretzels and a visit from the Flourtown Fire Company.
Minimal cost – Adults $12.00, 9th through 12th graders $10, Kindergarten to 8th graders $5 and Pre-K and under are free. So please come out to support the Interactors as you enjoy a nice community event with a purpose. Interact is a Rotary Sponsored service group for young adults.
