Springfield Rotary welcomed the Springfield Township High School Choir to the Club for their annual recital. The Club members enjoyed singing along to classics while enjoying new compositions.

Happy Holidays from Springfield Rotary
The holidays are special, no doubt, and for Rotarians its a time to reflect on the past year and celebrate with the community. Recently, the club welcomed the Springfield High School Choir who raised their voices in song and celebration and with their children, nieces, nephews and grandkids at Zion Lutheran’s Book Nook which included readings of children’s books by Rotarian Claudia Campbell and other authors and a visit by Santa. Hosted by Rotarian, Rev Marcia Thompson, fun, cookies and fellowship were had by all.
Greater Philadelphia Asian Cultural Center Entertains Rotary

On Tuesday April 3, The Springfield Township Rotary club welcomed Ms. Lan Miao, Community Outreach Coordinator at the Greater Philadelphia Asian Cultural Center and Dr. Jing Fan, Director of the TAO Institute of Mind and Body Medicine. They introduced the members to Shen Yun a performing arts company that performs classical Chinese dance and music incorporating traditional costumes and scenery which revives 5000 years of Chinese culture. The Shen Yun tour returns to Philadelphia at The Merriam Theatre on May 8th and May 9th. For more information their website is: www.shenyun2012.com
