Members of the Springfield Township Rotary Club came together for an evening of celebration marking their 58th Annual Changeover Dinner; a night to honor the outgoing Board Members and welcome the New Board Members. Also taking place during the evening, the awarding of $1,000 to Face to Face in Germantown, a shelter that the club has adopted. The meal will be served in honor of Beatrice Gardner, an Honorary Member of the club who recently passed away. The evening also celebrated the awarding of Paul Harris Fellows, Rotary’s highest honor, to a handful of Rotarians who exemplified “Service Above Self”. Recipients were Robert Scott III, Michael Creeden, Walt Long, Amanda Helwig, and Dan Helwig. The evening was topped off with the pinning of the incoming 2015-2016 President T. Scott Kreilick who currently is also serving as the President of the Springfield Township Historical Society.
